Brighton Winter Pride
Pride in Brighton and Hove has £5,000 available to LGBT charities and
groups to enable them to stage events, raise valuable funds and
awareness for their organisations. Grants of up to £500 are available to
groups for events that 'engage the community and promote their
organisations work' these grants are intended to assist voluntary
organisations with the administration, preparation and staging of events
for Winter Pride 2006.

National Student Pride, Oxford
The second ever national student pride! 2005 was the first one and this
promises to be bigger and better! hosted by Oxford Brookes LGBT soc for
one more year. next year will travel to a different uni. Last year over
300 students from Oxford Brookes, Oxford, Brighton, Imperial, UWE,
Sussex, Birmingham, Portsmouth, LSE, Brunel, Aston, Hertfordshire and
Reading came to this pioneering event!

Birmingham
The Midland's lesbian and gay community is gearing itself up for this
year's Birmingham Pride, to be held in the city's Gay Village over the
May Bank Holiday weekend. The festival, which attracts visitors from
throughout the UK over a three-day period, is once again being organised
by The Birmingham Gay Business Partnership.
Whatever you're looking for at a gay and lesbian festival, you're likely
to find it at Birmingham Pride, an event with a great heart and a
friendly atmosphere.

Scottish Borders LGBT BBQ - Pride
At Boleside picnic site, Galashiels, by the River Tweed. Boleside is
reached by car from the mini-roundabout at the bottoms of Tweed Road and
Winston Road, near Heriot Watt University. Major bus routes from
Edinburgh to the Borders pass nearby, on the A7 and the A6091 (Melrose
bypass). |

Leicester Pride
Leicester Pride is the annual lesbian, gay and bisexual festival for
Leicester and the East Midlands. Taking place in June each year, the
festival includes a parade through the city centre and a multi-cultural
arts festival on Victoria Park. Theme: 'One Step Beyond'.

Pride Scotia - Glasgow
Pride Scotia, Scotland's National LGBT Pride organisation has set a date
for Pride 2006. The Board has agreed provisionally with both Strathclyde
Police and Glasgow City Council that Saturday, June 24th 2006 will be
designated for Pride this year. (This date is subject to final
confirmation).

Europride London 2006
London will be welcoming gay and lesbian visitors from all over the
world to the EuroPride Festival from 16 June to 1 July 2006. Around 80
floats in the Pride Parade will head down our new route of Oxford Street
and Regent Street on Saturday 1 July 2006, followed by the Pride Rally
in Trafalgar Square, Pride Cabaret Stage in Leicester Square, and
community village throughout Soho.

fouth year for this event, celebrating Oxford's vibrant gay community.

Lincoln
Lincoln is to hold it's first Gay Pride this year and I am wondering how
to get the details added to your website, please?
So far we have the date (22nd/23rd July) and the venue (
Horse & Groom). We have backing from the Council and police and
shall be offering stalls, food etc as well as a main stage with music
through the weekend.

Nottingham
Nottingham Pride will be held at the Arboretum Park, from 12-6pm. There
will be activities for all the family, a stage featuring live bands to
suit all tastes, stalls, food and beer tents. All welcome! Now in its
third successful year in this wonderful location. Easy access by tram,
that stops almost outside.

Soho London
Sohos' streets will be closed to traffic and taken over by thousands of
lesbian and gay revellers for the West Ends biggest free street party!
Featuring several sensational Street Parties with the capitals leading
lesbian and gay DJ's taking the queer beat out onto the streets, gay
business and community markets areas and outdoor drinking and dining
galore! New this year, a parade will wind its way through Soho with
participants from local Gay businesses and the whole festival area will
be beautifully decorated, and we hope to have Fireworks at the end of
the event! |

Brighton Pride FREE
It's the biggest and the best Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Trangender Pride
Festival in the country last year attracting more than 120,000 people.
The Carnival Parade and Festival in Preston Park is on Saturday 5th
August 2006 – the Parade starts on the sea front near the Palace Pier on
Maderia Drive at 11am sharp.
